I have grown up with everything that I have ever needed. There are a lot of children who have not and do not have access to what I did and still do, and any little thing I can do to help them I am going to.
Yeah, thats me. The one in the white, the one that always stood out. For the better half of my High School career I was the librero on the volleyball team. I loved it. From day one of freshman year to the last day of the season senior year volleyball was a major part of me. Even through one surgery on my ankle, I played. All the bruised wrists, two black eyes before picture day and such, I loved it. Senior year me and a close friend were captains of the varsity team. I loved it. I never thought in a million years I would ever be in that position. But it happened, and it was the highlight of my schooling days. We made it to states and everything. It was amazing...
Lastly this is my life now. My boyfriend Al who I met at Uconn. Besides my family of course, he has been there for me through the past two years. I have had a lot of different problems here and there. nothing major, but he has been there, whether it be 1 in the morning or 1 on the afternoon. I am proud to say he is in Law School right now and is following his dream of becoming a lawyer. :) Through thick and thin he has been there and he knows how much I appreciate that.
Then, There is my family. My immediate family, my grandparents and all my aunts, uncles, and cousins. They all mean a lot to me, they are my family, we have always been there for each other.
There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about my grandfather. I have so many good memories of him and I and a lot of pictures that I can look back at and smile. One I distinctly remember is my helping him take the trash out. The picture is in my living room as I type. There are times where i sit here and talk to him while I am alone. You can call me crazy but I do believe he is watching over me and helps me get through things. I miss him so much and would do a lot to have him back for one more day. I love you and miss you Grampy!! aka grumpy
